Charlie Sheen hopes TV bosses behind Two and a Half Men eventually invite him back because he wants to appear in the show's final episode.
The actor was fired from the hit sitcom in 2011 after publicly feuding with show bosses, who cited his bizarre antics and wild behaviour for their decision to let him go.
Sheen's character was killed off and Ashton Kutcher was drafted in to fill the gap, but the Hot Shots star hopes producers will find a way to bring him back for the grand finale.
He tells U.S. TV host David Letterman, "I would like to go back, I would like to appear in their final episode."
When Letterman points out that the death of Sheen's character may pose a problem, the star retorts, "I am dead, but so's the show."
