Admittedly, he's prejudiced. But John Noble believes Friday's two-hour series finale of the J.J. Abrams-created sci-fi series Fringe will be judged "as one of the great finales of all time. It's certainly going with a bang."
The Australian actor - who's portrayed the mentally-scattered genius Walter Bishop on Fringe for five years - said the cast greeted their latest series of scripts with trepidation, after seasons of narrative arcs that turned on a dime.
"We didn't know until really quite late how Joel (showrunner Joel Wyman) would finish it off. I can honestly say it was everything that I had hoped it could possibly be ... a masterly job tying up our character lines, tying up the great story arc. I was extremely elated when I read the final episodes."
