Quirky '30 Rock' signing off
By Bill Harris, QMI Agency

30 Rock, I dub thee The Queen of Sitcoms for the digital recording era.

The quips on 30 Rock often came so fast and were so pop-culture current, a fan's only hope was to rewind and listen again. You still can watch repeats and hear hilarious asides that you completely missed the first time around.

30 Rock, which wraps up with a one-hour series finale Thursday on NBC and City, never was a big hit. It won plenty of awards, so I guess you could call it a critical darling, although not all critics loved it, either.

I truly will miss it, though. And the list of TV shows that I honestly have missed once they've departed is pretty short.

30 Rock's strongest episodes rank as TV classics. And even the weakest episodes always had a line or two that kept me coming back.
