There is an Elementary disconnect between TV's plum post-Super Bowl time slot and my own viewing habits.
Personally, after the Super Bowl, I'm usually so full of food and drink, and so tired from yelling at the TV, and so angry from losing in another indecipherable betting pool of some sort, that I don't have much interest in whatever is on the tube next.
But I'm not typical in that regard, I guess. It's a really big deal for shows to get the post-Super Bowl slot, in both the U.S. and Canada. And this year, following Super Bowl XLVII on Sunday, the shows that have been hand-picked are the modern Sherlock Holmes series Elementary on CBS and newfangled Canadian cop procedural Motive on CTV.
