Thiessen unimpressed by ambush

When The Today Show decided to surprise Tiffani Thiessen with a former Saved By The Bell co-star, the actress could barely muster a full smile.

The hosts challenged Thiessen to a game of 90s trivia on Tuesday’s broadcast. And what started as a fun skit turned into one awkward moment when a pudgy Dennis Haskins, who played Bayside High School’s principal, Mr. Belding, came trotting out.

Thiessen’s face froze as Haskin’s walked out shouting, “Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey! What’s going on here?” in classic Mr. Belding style.

Haskin’s approached Thiessen to say hi and she looked less than impressed.

"Can I just say hi real quick?" Haskins asked

“Tiffani’s in shock!” host Natalie Morales said in hopes of salvaging the segment.

They preceded business as usual with the game show, but it was clear that Thiessen wasn’t too comfortable with his presence.

Thiessen starred on Saved By The Bell from 1989–93. She played the flirty dream girl, Kelly Kapowski.

Currently, the 39-year-old stars on the TV show White Collar.

This isn’t the first time she’s been sour on a Bayside reunion. In 2009, she was the main holdout when Jimmy Fallon tried to organize a get together, according to US Magazine.

She even did a Funny or Die video running down all the reasons why she couldn’t attend a reunion, listing working with NASA and training for the UFC among her fictional reasons.
