Duff ready to get back to work
By LINDA MASSARELLA, Special to QMI Agency

It was the first time Lizzie McGuire actress Hilary Duff had left 10-month-old baby, Luca, for more than a few hours.

While filming a guest spot on the Fox TV show, Raising Hope, the 25-year-old tweeted Jan. 29 -- the first of three long days on the set -- about the gut-wrenching dilemma new mothers face when they venture back into the workplace: "Sitting in my trailer waiting to work ... Missing Luc."

Until now, Duff has said she was only willing to leave her baby to go on small errands or auditions. And she'd mainly only trust Luca's baby dad, Canadian retired NHL player Mike Comrie, with his care.

Now Duff obviously wants to get off her tuff and back to work.

And she's quickly learning how to juggle career and family: After the second day on the set, the singer raced home to see her son, immediately posting an adorable Instagram picture of herself smiling while pushing Luca in a spiffy toy car.
