BOWIE

'The Bachelor' picks his final two
By Samie Durnford, QMI Agency

After the dramatic hometown dates, Sean has narrowed his search for love down to three ladies on The Bachelor. Catherine, Lindsay, and AshLee werent huge frontrunners from the beginning but they seem to have made an impression. Jetting all three off to Thailand, Sean hopes to find some clarity on the romantic island.

He says he loves Catherines funny and nerdy side, but also likes how he can be serious with her when he needs to be. When it comes to AshLee, he says he has the strongest relationship with her and that she has all the qualities hes looking for. Lastly, there is Lindsay who he originally wanted to send home after she showed up on the first day wearing a wedding dress, but has ended up surprising the Bachelor, saying his spark for her has grown so strong.

First up in Thailand, Sean takes Lindsay to a Thai market to try some new food. She says she wont eat bugs but sure enough, Sean convinces her to try some. After on the beach, they have a picnic and Lindsay struggles to tell him how she really feels. They feed monkeys, make out, and go for a swim instead. At dinner, they talk about her willingness to move to his hometown once they get engaged. Just as she is about to tell him she loves him, dancers come out and interrupt her. However, she gets a card for the overnight date and accepts it and at the suite, she tells him I love you.

AshLee is next up for the day and night with Sean. He takes her on a boat ride where they eventually swim into a dark cave to get to a secluded beach. At dinner, they talk normal emotional stuff over an uneaten meal. When the overnight date card is presented, Sean promises that it would just be alone time and nothing more, so, she says yes.

The last date of the week goes to Catherine. As they lounge on a big boat, Catherine says she loves how he accepts her weirdness and he tells the cameras hes worried shes not ready to commit. At dinner, they talk about their future together and Catherine opens up about some of her insecurities, like the struggle she had within the house and comparing herself to other girls. She also chooses to accept the overnight date.

Sean is three for three now.

The girls leave him video messages to try one more time to pull his heartstrings. He says he already knows who he is sending home and hopes the videos dont end up confusing him more. AshLee ends up crying in her video and Sean shares the tears as he watches it.

Lindsay gets the first rose, followed by Catherine. AshLee gets sent home and cant even hide her anger as he walks her out. She barely lets him explain himself before she gets into the car. She lets him say his piece before getting into the limo.

Next week is the reunion where all the women come together to discuss all things Sean with the Bachelor himself.
