Bret Michaels sobbed uncontrollably off camera after getting the axe from “Celebrity Apprentice”, according to an online report.
A show insider tells Radar Online the Poison singer, 49, (and winner of “Celebrity Apprentice” in 2009) was distraught behind the scenes after becoming the first contestant booted from the reality TV competition.
"It was a mess when Bret was told the news and filming was done," says the source.
"He couldn't stop crying and even the producers were trying to comfort him. No one expected him to have a meltdown like that."
According to the The Hollywood Reporter, Michaels was so confident he would win Donald Trump’s competition again, that he initially thought Trump was joking when he fired him.
