For a holiday about being grateful for all the good things we have in life, Thanksgiving sure can be full of drama, domestic squabbles and your drunk Uncle Phil knocking over the gravy tureen and scaring the children. At least that's how it was in our house.
As Community celebrates Thanksgiving this week - a delayed start to this season means the show's holiday-themed episodes are airing way out of sync from the real-world- there seems to be a lot of tension in the family.
Community creator and showrunner Dan Harmon is gone this season after being dumped by NBC. Also gone is Chevy Chase, whose well-documented disdain for the show culminated in November when he quit with a couple episodes left to shoot, as though he was channeling his crabby, clueless Pierce Hawthorne character.
