Kardashian suffers health scare

Kim Kardashian (Reuters files)

Pregnant socialite Kim Kardashian suffered a frightening health scare on Tuesday night when she reportedly fell sick during a long-haul flight.

The reality TV star, who is expecting a baby with her rapper boyfriend Kanye West, began feeling ill as she travelled back to Los Angeles on a flight from Paris, France and went straight to see her doctor after landing, according to New York Post gossip column Page Six.

A source tells the publication Kardashian feared for her unborn child when she fell sick: "Kim started feeling ill on the plane from Paris, and called friends as soon as she landed. She was rushed to her doctor Tuesday night in tears. She thought she was having a miscarriage."

The star was given the all-clear and was reportedly ordered to cut back on her hectic work so she can rest.

The insider adds, "She is having a very rough pregnancy, and doctors have ordered her to slow down."
