'CSI: NY' star admits DUI charge

CSI: NY star Carmine Giovinazzo has pleaded guilty to a DUI charge stemming from his arrest in Arizona in January.

The 39-year-old actor was detained by police after they spotted him swerving his Jeep across a road during a drive through Scottsdale, and he was subsequently charged with driving under the influence.

It has now emerged Giovinazzo struck a deal with prosecutors and agreed to enter a guilty plea. He has been ordered to attend an alcohol awareness program by May 3, and he will spend 10 days in jail if he fails to complete the course, according to TMZ.com.
