A representative for Jennifer Aniston has shut down reports the former Friends star is planning a secret wedding in Hawaii with fiance Justin Theroux.

Gossip blogger Perez Hilton recently claimed the couple was set to marry in the U.S. state "any day now" to avoid the paparazzi in Los Angeles.

A source told his entertainment news site, "Justin just adores Hawaii. It's his favourite place in the world and he has a little house on the island of Kauai. His cottage is too small to host the wedding and Jen thinks it has too many memories of his old flames anyway. But they both love the island and the idea of a laid back Hawaii wedding in the sunshine."

However, a spokesperson for the 44-year-old has spoken out to shut down the rumours, insisting the report is "all made up". The rep tells the New York Post, "There are no plans for a wedding in Hawaii."
