Wynonna Judd is heading back to her day job.

The country music star, who tried to let loose with a rock ‘n’ roll samba on Monday, was eliminated last night on “Dancing With The Stars.”

This makes Wynonna the first contestant officially voted off the show, since Dorothy Hamill withdrew from the competition last week, saving all couples from elimination.

Wynonna never really found her footing, but her last dance to Def Leppard’s “Pour Some Sugar on Me” ended her dancing career on an embarrassing note. Wynonna was criticized for not coming out of her shell enough and for forgetting to, well, MOVE to the music. Her partner Tony Dovalani tried to cover this up by adding distractions like a stripper poll and some pyrotechnics to the act – but it was no use.

After hearing the news, Wynonna seemed relieved to kick off her dancing heels.

“This is the hardest job I’ve ever loved,” she said. “I’m a singer not a dancer.”

Amen to that.
