There's just no dogging it when it comes to the training of canines for use in the military, police force or secret service.

And with the current state of the entertainment business, where everything is a potential TV show, someone had to grab the leash here, right?

The fact that it's Jack Osbourne -- son of Ozzy and Sharon, brother of Kelly -- who is the co-executive producer of the new series Alpha Dogs is unusual on a number of levels. Not the least of which is the fact that Jack isn't really dog-friendly.

"One of the most amazing things about the show is watching these dogs do what they do, episode by episode," says Osbourne, whose new series Alpha Dogs debuts Wednesday with back-to-back episodes on the cable channel Nat Geo Wild. Canadian Rob Worsoff is Osbourne's co-executive producer.
