After Elissa won Head of Household and juror Judd came back into the Big Brother house, all hell nearly broke loose between the houseguests. It was a bit of a shock to see Aaryon and McCrae up for nomination, but good for Elissa for doing whatever the heck she wanted. Amanda won the Power of Veto and saved her buddy, McCrae, leaving Andy as his replacement. Amanda was worried, but she had no reason to be -- it was a unanimous vote to boot Aaryon from the house. In a chicken-themed Head of Household competition, GinaMarie took the crown.
Harder than it looks
Jaws dropped when Team Tims managed to not be eliminated - yet again - on The Amazing Race Canada, but there was no time for shock. Despite their lucky break, the father-son duo hit another snag when their cab driver stopped to use the bathroom. Cue the laughs. Brett and Holly and Jet and Dave both had a hard time building igloos and later had to switch tasks. Jody and Cory finished their road block with flying colors, however, and scored their first win of the race. In the end, Brett and Holly just couldn't catch up after their igloo fail and were eliminated.
It was a two-hour Paula Deen (and father and son) episode on MasterChef when the judges brought in their sons to help. So cute! James won the mystery box challenge with a white chocolate passionfruit turnover and therefore got immunity. Natasha and Krissi both flopped but Ramsay said they couldn't decide who to send home so both were safe. In came Paula, who fast-tracked Jessie and Luca with their catfish dishes. The final three had to cook a replica of a judge's dish. When James was dealt a dessert, he couldn't master the panna cotta - and was sent packing.
Teen Mom is back with a whole new batch of teen moms -- and baby daddy drama. (This is my favorite show to love to hate, so bear with me.) This episode: Alex's baby daddy, Matt, has moved in with her at her mom's house. One red flag? He's fresh out of rehab for a drug addiction. He admitted he wasn't really ready to change and when money went unaccounted for, it seemed obvious what was up. Safe to say this story is only going to go downhill for poor Alex.
Know your stuff
Big news: America's Next Top Model is still on air. And it's now in Season 20. Who knew!? I somehow got sucked into watching it and it's actually not too shabby. Tyra has made it boys vs. girls this time out - and the audience is now a judge as well with models getting a "social media score" (very scientific!). Anyway, this week doomed hottie Mike Scocozza struggled because, well, he's not a model. Apparently, Tyra saw him on the street and invited him personally to try out for the show. In the end, Mike and his six-pack were sent home.
Power move of the week:
Celina gets mad props on Amazing Race Canada for scarfing back all that muktuk (raw whale skin and blubber) because without her, they could have finished in last.
Biggest surprise of the week:
James falling from first place to last on MasterChef. However, can we say we're surprised? It's more of a surprise he made it this far.
Quote of the week:
"I have ruined you! You are nothing! Nothing, you hear me, nothing!" said Amanda to Elissa on Big Brother. "I'm gonna torture you every single day until you leave this house!"
Where are they now:
Former America's Next Top Model winner Eva Marcille is expecting her first baby. Awww.
America's Next Top Model probably has another 20 seasons left in it.
