Want to feel what it’s like to be Walter White? Well, here’s your chance.
Fans of AMC’s Breaking Bad will be able to bid on props and other iconic fixtures from the series starting next week. Items up for grabs on the Screenbid auction site include Tuco Salamanca’s grill, the pink teddy bear, a Los Pollos Hermanos chicken bucket, the yellow hazmat suit, Skyler White’s jeep and Walter White’s tighty whities.
"People just love it and I’m one of those people who loves it and I’ve gotta tell you, it’s been so much fun going in and looking at all these important pieces from the show; things that really resonate with me and I figure if they resonate with me, they’ve gotta be resonating with some of the fans, as well,” Screenbid’s Chief Creative Officer Joshua Weinstein told Fox Business' Lauren Simonetti.
The company expects to sell 250 items from the show, with the auction beginning Sept. 29 after the final show ends. Some props have not been listed yet to ensure there are no spoilers.
The sale of television show props is nothing new. In 2010, 12 cans of beer from the set of Lost sold for $5,000. And the van driven by the Dharma initiative? That went for $47,500.
The series finale of Breaking Bad, which won best drama at the Emmys, airs this Sunday at 9 EST.
