Anna Faris claims she was the worst waitress ever.
"I was so bad," says Faris, recalling her waitress days in light of her sitcom role as a food server in Mom, which debuted last week and is airing Mondays on CBS and City. "And I was a waitress at a senior-citizen home, so there's like two options, you can have the fish and chips, or you can have the grilled chicken with no sodium.
"One time I walked back into the kitchen and I looked at my notepad and all I had done was make little waves on the paper. I had to go and take the order again."
In Mom, Faris' character Christy is a single mother whose life gets even more complicated when her own irresponsible mom Bonnie, played by Allison Janney, resurfaces. Both Christy and Bonnie are recovering alcoholics and have a vested interest in trying to make sure Christy's daughter Violet (Sadie Calvano) turns out better than they did.
