The SImpsons star Marcia Wallace died from a combination of pneumonia, sepsis and breast cancer, coroners have ruled.

The TV veteran, who famously voiced teacher Edna Krabappel on the longrunning cartoon series, died on Oct. 25 and officials have now listed the lung infection as one of the main causes of her passing, in addition to sepsis inflammation due to infection.

Lung disease chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) was also named as a primary factor, while cancer was a "significant condition" contributing to her loss, according to the details on her death certificate.

Wallace successfully battled the condition in 1985 but learned earlier this year that the tumour had returned.

Her body was cremated days after her passing, reports to TMZ.com.
