Broken hearts and angry women were casualties of the most controversial season of The Bachelor, but the ladies got their chance to fire back Monday night during “The Women Tell All” special, where Juan Pablo Galavis faced the army of eliminated bachelorettes.

Outspoken women such as Kelly Travis, Sharleen Joynt and Andi Dorfman returned to share how they really feel about Juan Pablo, and even went so far as agreeing that the bachelor was not genuine, wasn’t on the show to truly find a wife and was not someone that they could relate to.

“I think he used his daughter as an excuse a lot,” dog lover Kelly Travis bluntly stated, which may have taken the prodding too far. She sat with her dog Molly and made snide remarks throughout the episode and even questioned Juan about the anti-gay remarks he had made in an interview.

Chris Harrison acted as the mediator and took his own one-on-one time to talk with some of the season’s most memorable women, like fan-favourite Renee Oteri, who had her heart crushed by Juan after the hometown dates. Renee smiled and stated that she doesn’t regret coming on the show. The young mother also shared that she is now in a happy “situation.”

Andi Dorfman, who made a dramatic exit in St. Lucia, spoke candidly about how she had to fake sleep during the overnight date with the bachelor just to get out of their uncomfortable conversation. Ouch.

Then, Juan Pablo took his turn in the hot seat answering all the tough questions from the ladies, like why he played favourites to the single mothers, why he changed the kissing rules throughout the season and why he used his first language as a “cop-out.”

“I’ve been honest since day one,” the Bachelor defended.

“When you are honest with somebody, it is definitely going to hurt.”

But despite the interrogation, the group hugged at the end. They hate to love Juan Pablo.

Sean and Catherine Lowe also made their first television appearance since their live wedding back in January, sharing anecdotes about their honeymoon, including a story about a stingray that sexually assaulted Sean while swimming in the ocean. Catherine might have shared too much, describing their wedding night as “quick fireworks,” but the couple laughed it off.

The Bachelor returns with the anticipated season finale next Monday night with only Clare and Nikki left standing.
