The Space channel announced Thursday there will be a scene featuring an actor playing Toronto Mayor Rob Ford in the movie sequel to Sharknado set to air next Wednesday at 9 p.m.

"Sharknado is jumping on the gravy train!" Space announced in a press release Thursday.

In the movie, Canadian viewers will see Ford pop up on the screen for a press conference offering aid as tornadoes filled with sharks descend on Manhattan.

The fictitious press conference doesn't end well for the fictitious Ford.

(Spoiler alert: A shark ends up smashing through the window and then through the mayor.)

The real Ford has yet to respond to news of his Sharknado 2 scene.

Although Ford has become a well-known name in the U.S. since his crack cocaine scandal broke last year, the scene won't be in the U.S. version of the movie.

Space officials confirmed Thursday the scene was made exclusively for Canadian audiences.
