Former WWE diva Lauren Jones' reality series Anchorwoman failed to connect with viewers.

Fox dropped the anchor on Anchorwoman after only one flat -- but not flat-chested -- episode.
Former WWE diva Lauren Jones' attempt to become an anchorwoman at a TV station in Tyler, Tex., did not connect with enough viewers when it debuted on Wednesday night, and Fox has pulled the plug.
Anchorwoman, which garnered a decidedly less-than-positive review in Sun Media outlets on Wednesday, attracted only 2.7 million viewers in the U.S.
This may not be a fair comparison, but that number was only one-third of the audience Fox obtained in the same time slot a week earlier for the finale of So You Think You Can Dance.
A reality-comedy hybrid that did not work on either level, Anchorwoman joins the likes of the infamous Heather Graham comedy Emily's Reasons Why Not, which was yanked by ABC after only one episode last year.
