If Donald Trump really wanted to hire both Randal Pinkett and Rebecca Jarvis, he should have left the decision up to her.
The second-place Apprentice finalist says she would have had no problem sharing the spotlight with Randal, had the shoe been on the other foot.
"Absolutely -- there is no question in my mind I would have said yes to hiring Randal.
"I was actually excited by the prospect that Trump may be offering the two of us positions to potentially even work together," she says.
While Jarvis, a 24-year-old Chicago based financial journalist, was disappointed when Pinkett, this season's Apprentice, refused to share his win with her during the show's live finale, she holds no grudges.
"Both Randal and I had come to respect one another and had noted each other's talents and I thought, 'What could be more valuable to the Trump Organization then to have a dynamic duo like Randal and Rebecca?'
"That's why I would have said yes, but I'm not going to give Randal any gruff because he is entitled to his opinion.
"He made a business decision and, in business, people make decisions all the time that you may or may not agree with."
While it was only days ago, Jarvis says the finale is already a distant memory.
"Even thinking about how it felt is silly at this point because I am so happy and excited about the next steps I am planning on taking," she adds.
As a result of appearing on the show, Jarvis has had numerous job offers, including one at Yahoo!, which she worked for during her final task.
"There are some great, great opportunities out there, but I won't be sharing which ones I will be pursuing until the ink is dry."
While Jarvis has yet to decide where she will spend her immediate future, she is quite certain it will not be at the Trump Organization.
In the past week, since the finale aired, The Donald has not come forward with any irresistible job offers, she says.
"Obviously, I would consider any offer that has the depth of the others that are on the table right now.
"But frankly, the other offers on the table are so compelling, he (Trump) might be a little late."
