Eric Littmann gets the boot. |
The city of Las Vegas can rest easy. Barring a twist that might bring him back into the house, firefighter Eric Littmann will be heading back to Sin City.
Outsmarted by a revolution which saw The Outcast Alliance (James, Sarah, Kaysar, Janelle, Howie and Rachel) take control of the game, Littmann was ejected by a vote of five to four on last night’s live eviction episode.
The Outcasts’ celebration at removing one of the strongest players didn’t last long however when Eric’s secret partner, Maggie Ausburn, won the Head of Household Competition. Once again, the power has shifted to The Disciples (Maggie, Ivette, Beau, April and Jennifer) who will assuredly continue their feud with The Outcasts through Maggie’s nominations for eviction. Maggie’s picks will be broadcast on Saturday night’s episode. Maggie is apt to target either James or Kaysar.
Though Eric will be best remembered for his blowout with former HouseGuest Michael Donnellan, ‘Big Brother’ host Julie Chen did not question Eric at all about what happened that night and unlike his actions in the house, Eric seemed quite accepting of the fact that his game was indeed over during his chat with Chen.
“It was a quick ride from first to worst. There were some deals made that were broken and I realize that is part of the game,” Eric said referring to the promise Kaysar had made not to nominate him last week.
Eric admitted that he underestimated Kaysar, the former Head of Household who formed The Outcast Alliance during his term.
“I think he kind of played almost like the shy, quiet religious guy,” said Eric. “He has been coined as “King Kaysar” in the house because that’s the way he is walking around but that is part of the game.”
Infamous for repeatedly swearing on his children’s lives throughout his time on the series, Eric hoped that they would remember all of his positive attributes.
“I will tell them that their father is still a man of his word, always has been, always will be,” Eric stated. “The best thing that I got out of this whole process was the friendships that I have gained that I never expected. Those will probably last me a lot longer than the money would and that’s the most important thing.”
As she promised last week, Chen did announce the worst kept secret in the house. That everyone had entered the house with a secret partner. Though she did not specifically name the couples, Chen did announce the special prizes which would be awarded to any official pair that made it all the way to the finals. In that case, the second place finisher would take home $250,000 while the winner of ‘Big Brother 6’ will score a million dollars. She also disclosed to the viewers at home that another twist would come into play on next Thursday’s live eviction episode.
