The karma boomerang has returned to the 'Big Brother' house.
After betraying and taking out fan favourite Kaysar Ridha, the 24-year-old graphics designer whom viewers voted back into the game last week, Head of Household Jennifer Vasquez has found herself on the chopping block on last night's live show due to an eviction twist. The change-up will see two HouseGuests evicted this week and two Heads of Household crowned.
As the first new Head of Household, Janelle Pierzina, the 25-year-old cocktail waitress, was forced to immediately make her nominations known in front of the other HouseGuests. Janelle selected two Disciples Alliance members, Jennifer and Maggie Ausburn.
"Bye, bye, bitches," said Janelle as she left the front room with her Outcast Alliance partners.
Janelle's win didn't come without controversy though. In the trivia Head of Household challenge finals, Janelle faced off against Beau and April of The Disciples. When asked how many light bulbs were used in the movie competition, Janelle's first answer was 300 but she held it upside down. When host Julie Chen informed Janelle of her mistake and reminded April that she needed her to complete her answer, Janelle turned her card over to reveal 275. Despite the flip-flop, Janelle was declared the winner. If her original answer had stood, Beau would have been victorious instead.
While television viewers will not see who is evicted and who wins the next HOH Competition until Saturday's broadcast, those who have access to the 24/7 live Internet feeds from the 'Big Brother' house will see it happen live on Friday.
In speaking to Chen for the second time, Kaysar, who surrendered the HOH title to Jennifer in last week's challenge after she promised not to nominate him, said his mistake was in trusting the untrustworthy.
"Unfortunately, I didn't have enough information to know these people were going to betray me," Kaysar told Chen. "I wanted to gain their respect and in turn, they turned on me because they felt I was a strong player. So, no trust and no respect in the end."
Kaysar, who was evicted by a unanimous vote, stated that he wanted to play the game with honour and that is how he believes he left the game.
"If integrity and honour mean nothing to them then it is not my fault," he said.
When Chen finally revealed to Kaysar that he received 82 per cent of the viewers' votes last week, he was stunned.
"I've got chills. I am speechless. I wanted to come out here and play the game. I have a love for the game. I wasn't here to trick people and make them feel bad. That is what hurts the most. That I was duped into thinking I can trust these people because I poured so much into them. When they were feeling bad, I was there for them and it just came back to bite me. It is very unfortunate."
