In the ‘Big Brother All-Stars’ house, there has been a disturbance in the Force.
Mirroring the Obi-Wan Kenobi, Darth Vader ‘Star Wars’ style relationship they enacted on the television series as part of the comical Jedi Alliance, HouseGuests Howie Gordon and ‘Chicken’ George Boswell’s partnership has ended in betrayal and nobody is laughing.
On the live 24/7 ‘Big Brother’ Internet feeds, subscribers witnessed a stunning turn of events as the first Head of Household this week, Chicken George, nominated Howie for eviction when James Rhine won the Power of Veto.
During the eviction vote taped for Sunday’s television broadcast, the feeds were blacked out but when they returned Howie was nowhere to be seen and Janelle Pierzina was crying over his eviction during which it seems he and Mike Matlin exchanged some harsh words with one another. Although those not in the Season Six Alliance were glad the dominant coalition had been decimated, many had heavy hearts over Howie’s eviction.
While the feeds were interrupted, the producers also held another HOH Competition in keeping with the double eviction week which began on Thursday’s broadcast. Mike Matlin of the ChillTown Alliance is the new Head of Household. Mike also holds the Coup d'etat power which allows him to dethrone the current HOH and alter the nominations.
All of the events which transpired on the 24/7 feeds will air on Sunday night’s ‘Big Brother All-Stars’ broadcast.
"Big Brother: All-Stars" airs Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday nights at 8pm ET on CH in Ontario and British Columbia and on Global in the Maritimes, Quebec, Winnipeg, Saskatoon and Regina.
