It very well could be Rob and Amber all over again.
On the 24/7 live ‘Big Brother’ Internet feeds early Thursday morning, viewers learned that Mike ‘Boogie’ Malin has won the second part of the final Head of Household Competition.
Mike’s win sets the stage for him to square off against Erika Landin, his rumoured girlfriend before coming into the house, in the final stage on tonight’s live eviction episode.
Although the competition was blacked out on the feeds and was taped for tonight’s broadcast, when the feeds did return to the live happenings, Janelle Pierzina was complaining bitterly about Mike’s win.
“That sucks. I think they (the producers) want him to win the whole thing. I know he was going to win it. Clearly, we don't have arm strength. He got two full minutes faster than me,” Janelle told Erika as they discussed how the challenge involved being suspended in the air and moving around some sort of apparatus using upper-body strength. Some fans have speculated throughout the season that the producers were favouring Janelle in the various competitions.
Despite Erika and Janelle joining forces after realizing they had both been manipulated by ChillTown (Mike and Will ‘Dr. Evil’ Kirby), it is unlikely that Erika or Mike would select the popular Janelle as their final two partner to face the jury.
On the season finale next Tuesday, the seven-member jury will vote on the winner of ‘Big Brother: All-Stars’. The winner will take home $500,000 U.S. while the second-place finisher will pocket $50,000 U.S.
"Big Brother: All-Stars" airs Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday nights at 8pm ET on CH in Ontario and British Columbia and on Global in the Maritimes, Quebec, Winnipeg, Saskatoon and Regina.
