TORONTO (CP) -- David Steinberg laughs at being called a prodigal son.
The Winnipeg-born comic-writer-director-producer who has spent more than three decades at the top of his funny form in New York and Los Angeles says it's a change in the American TV landscape, not Canada's, that encouraged him to come home for a prime-time series.
