The latest round of cancellations is in, and Jerry Bruckheimer's new series "Skin" and the critically-acclaimed "Boomtown" haven't survived the cut.
Fox's "Skin," a "Romeo and Juliet" love story set in the world of Los Angeles' adult entertainment industry, failed to titillate viewers despite massive promotion and generally favourable reviews. The serial drama debuted to a disappointing 6.3 million viewers and continued to lose its audience over three low-rated airings, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
