Britney's 'Chaotic' series wraps up
By -- AllPop

The season and series finale of "Britney & Kevin: Chaotic" premiered last night and was full of tear-jerking moments. In the only episode not full of stupid jokes, childish behaviour and Britney's thoughts on life, the one-hour episode followed Britney and Kevin as they made their way to the alter.

Under the guise of and engagement party, Britney and Kevin surprised their guests upon arrival with invitations informing them they were at the actual wedding. The cameras followed the wedding party as they got ready for the ceremony and each recovered from their individual shock of the whole thing.

The wedding itself looked to be, with the exception of a few cameras, a very private family affair. It was held in a small rented mansion, which had been emptied and decorated for the occasion. Britney, usually a model of all things grungy, looked classic and beautiful in her white strapless gown and veil. Kevin also cleaned up very well and looked almost clean cut in his tux.

The parts of the wedding ceremony itself that were shown were set to music, and looked to be a very emotional and touching event. Britney and Kevin had their hand clenched together throughout the whole ceremony and rarely looked away from each other. Kevin later described it as the most intense feeling he has ever experienced.

When the wedding was over, we see Britney change into what she admits was a very short white lace party dress. And so the party begins.

After the cutting of the cake, the garter toss and the throwing of the bridal bouquet (caught by Brit's assistant Fiona) the whole wedding party were given Juicy Couture suits. The girls received pink suits with "The Maids" embroidered on the back, Britney's read "Mrs. Federline," while the mother of the bride and groom's read "Hot Mamma's." The groomsmen's suits read "The Pimps" with Britney and Kevin's fathers reading "Pimp Daddy's." Ah, there's the trailer park touch we were missing!

With mischievous smiles, everyone said it was a night not to be forgotten.

The finale also showcased Britney's latest song "Someday," which she wrote herself. The song itself is about motherhood and so Britney believes the song was acting as a prophecy. She claims she wrote it two weeks before she found out she was pregnant.

The video is a far cry from the snake handling, sweating and skimpy Britney videos of the past. Dressed in a classy silk dress, she runs through gardens, lies in bed and walks through the grass, all with a burgeoning belly.

After getting a very close look at the wedding and the first ever look at the "Someday" video, there was still one last treat for the audience.

In a grand gesture of love, Kevin used the last few minutes of the show to declare a surprise message of love to his wife.

This last segment of the show showcased images Kevin has chosen himself of the couple saying they were the memories that have stuck with him the most. He then went on to list his wife's many attributes that he loves so much. This was definitely the most endearing look we got at Britney all throughout this series as Kevin describes his wife as caring, loving, funny and perfect.

Now, only a true skeptic or cynic could say this was not a heartfelt gesture on the part of a loving husband to his very adoring wife. Only someone with a heart of stone couldn't see the love this guy has for Britney, who he described as the closest you can get to an angel, almost breaking into tears when he declared to the world "Baby, I love you more than life."

Now that we have experienced a few months in the life of Britney Spears and Kevin Federline, I wonder if they feel their show served its purpose. They annoyed us, made us cringe, gave us their insights on life and love and finally, annoyed us some more.

However, if the whole point of the show was to prove their love is the real deal, well I have to say, Britney & Kevin: Mission Accomplished.
