TV Show: C.S.I.

Tarantino to direct 'CSI' episode

Quentin Tarantino will write and direct the season finale of "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation," according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The episode is expected to begin shooting in early April and will air on May 19.

Tarantino, a long-time fan of the show, was coaxed into directing the finale after members of the "CSI" crew ran into Tarantino while shooting in Las Vegas.

"Quentin came in a couple of weeks ago. We had a story meeting with the writers. He had a great idea, and it was so much fun to have him in the room... we are positively giddy," "CSI" executive producer Carol Mendelsohn told the Hollywood trade paper.

The plot will involve a member of the CSI team who's life is in jeopardy, she added.

This isn't Tarantino's first foray into television. He has a recurring role as McKenas Cole on ABC's "Alias."
