Live on a prayer no longer, Canadian Idol fans. Bon Jovi will rock your world on the karaoke competition's fifth season finale Sept. 11.

The New Jersey, uh, idols will also lend some tips to the Top 2 contenders on the final performance episode Sept. 10. And, as if that ain't enough, the remaining two songsters will be jetted off to New York beforehand for a private lesson from Jon Bon Jovi and Richie Sambora themselves, and will perform select hits from the band's catalogue (more Bed of Roses, anyone?) on the concluding episode. Bon Jovi join previously announced performers Avril Lavigne, Eva Avila and the rest of this year's Top 10 for the finale airing Sept. 11 on CTV.
