I'm not criticizing you, nor questioning your tastes. I like lots of dumb, weird things myself. Things that I'd never expect anyone else to be into.
But apparently a great many of you don't like the TV show Community, or don't "get" Community, or simply don't watch Community. And that I don't understand.
I especially don't understand how The Big Bang Theory, a dumb and broad comedy about misfits, is the number one show on TV while Community, a clever and subversive comedy about misfits, begins its fourth and possibly final season Thursday night. And barely even made it this far.
Then again, when has a show that requires a bit of thought in exchange for its laughs ever won out against a show that needs no brainpower for the yuks? That kind of stuff might fly on the BBC, but not here in North 'Murica.
