The quirky U.S. cable hit "Dead Like Me" has been been killed off after two seasons, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The drama debuted last year with impressive ratings and rave reviews, but the buzz wore off and the ratings began to fall in its second season.

"Dead Like Me" starred Jasmine Guy, Callum Blue, Cynthia Stevenson and Ellen Muth.

The show currently airs on The Movie Network and Movie Central in Canada.
