Lucille Teasdale is one of those genuine Canadian heroes most Canadians have never heard of.

 As one of our first female surgeons, the gutsy Montreal native literally gave her life to the people of war-torn Uganda. Sunday, she's being saluted in Dr. Lucille: The Lucille Teasdale Story, a CTV "Signature Presentation" (translation: Hey CRTC, lookit us!) airing at 9 p.m.
