LOS ANGELES -- Dick's NewsRadio co-star Maura Tierney is headed back to primetime. This fall she appeared on the Thanksgiving episode of ER and turns the part into a regular role next month. She played the maternity ward nurse who helped Carol Hathaway (Julianna Margulies) through delivering her twins.

"I'm actually a med student. That's what my character is, really, and I moonlight. I've been a nurse for 10 years, but now I'm in medical school," she explains of her transfer to the lower level of County General.
