Chris Rock sitcom renewed
By -- Toronto Sun

PASADENA, Calif. -- The CW announced yesterday that, despite low ratings, they have ordered a third season of their critically acclaimed sitcom Everybody Hates Chris.

Executive producer and narrator Chris Rock told critics yesterday that he's glad the show has moved back to Monday nights in the U.S. "My TiVo wouldn't even watch the show on Sunday," he cracked. "Every week, 60 Minutes. Damn!"

Rock, who isn't shy about using the "N" word in his act or even during press conferences, was asked if he would invite Michael Richards to guest on the series. "Probably," he said. "I'd have to make sure all the non n----- screaming people didn't need jobs first."

Rock was just back from South Africa where he was invited to the opening of Oprah Winfrey's Leadership Academy for girls.

"It was incredible," said Rock. "If you saw the ghettos where these kids live, no one would question what she did."
