George Clooney dropped a bomb on TV last night. However, nobody bombed on Fail-Safe, the live, two hour TV drama actor/producer Clooney helped mount.
The wordy and ambitious drama was inspired by one of Clooney's favourite films, a 1964 Cold War feature starring Henry Fonda as an embattled U.S. president who tries to recall a bomber en route to Moscow.
