TV Show: First Monday


He's seen it all
Would James Garner like to be a real Supreme Court justice? "I have a tough enough time running my own house -- and my wife does that anyway," says Garner, who stars with Charles Durning and Joe Mantegna in the new court drama First Monday (airing a second episode tonight at 9 p.m. on CH and CBS).

The 73-year-old actor met with reporters in Pasadena two weeks ago during the network press tour. He plays U.S. Supreme Court Chief Justice Thomas Brankin, who, at first glance, seems to be a pretty conservative bench boss.
