EDMONTON -- The locally produced family series Mentors notched its second Gemini Award win in as many years after snagging a trophy for writing at this year's Geminis ceremony.
The Mentors episode entitled Klondike Daze beat out three competitors - episodes of I Was A Sixth Grade Alien, Yvon of the Yukon and Edgemont - in the category for best writing in a children's or youth program. Klondike Daze was written by Quebec scribe Gerard Lewis.
