Fearless, potty-mouthed comedienne Sarah Silverman on The Good Wife? If Silverman decides to “wing it,” the older-skewing audience for the series may never recover!

Anyway, the episode of The Good Wife in which Silverman appears is titled Getting Off, double-entendre fully intended. It airs Tuesday, May 10 on CBS and Global.

The legal firm of lead character Alicia Florrick (Julianna Margulies) defends adultery-website owner Stephanie Engler (Silverman in a guest-starring role). Stephanie finds herself in hot water - first in a civil case, then in a criminal case - when one of her website’s users is murdered.

In recent years Silverman has been best known for her innovative and at times outright bizarre series The Sarah Silverman Program. It originated on Comedy Central in the U.S., and ran for three seasons from 2007 to 2010 before being cancelled.
