TORONTO -- A few weeks ago, Nostalgia Boy wrote about several local children's shows from the '60s and the odd way in which they all went off the air. One of them was Kiddo The Clown, an afternoon delight which ran on CFTO from 1962 to1965.
The Kiddo finale, as I recall, found Kiddo being evicted from his underground apartment when the Bloor-Danforth subway line was expanded. Subway workers booted him out after they smashed through his walls and started laying track.
