With its split screens and slick pacing, it shouldn't come as a surprise that British import MI-5, which debuted this week on A&E, is being favorably compared to 24.
Not so fast, folks -- true, while the show, called Spooks in its native land, is smart and exciting, it's not that good. But neither is it your father's BBC drama, what with plots revolving around extremists, anarchists and violent pro-lifers.
