Television goes for the cool factor on occasion. Acclaimed Canadian director Bruce McDonald (Hard Core Logo, Dance Me Outside) returns to the tube with tonight's TV movie Platinum, on CBC.
Set in Montreal, this two-hour rock 'n' roll fest pits a gritty independent record label, Platinum, against a major player, called Archangel.
