It looks like "Smallville" is getting smaller.

Variety.com reports that a six-episode animated spin-off of the series, entitled "Smallville Legends: The Oliver Queen Chronicles," is being created for cell phones and the Internet.

The live-action "Smallville" recently introduced Queen, also known as the Green Arrow, as a character to the series.

Variety further reports that Warner Bros. and CW net, which are producing the animated series, will air the episodes on Sprint TV mobile for the first six weeks, before it hits cwtv.com on Feb. 22.
