Look ... up in the sky ... it's a bird ... it's a plane ... it's a two-hour series finale!
Having aired for a full decade, Smallville -- starring Tom Welling as the young Clark Kent prior to his glorious emergence as Superman -- finally is ending its run.
If your cable or satellite service offers CW -- the U.S. network on which the Vancouver-shot Smallville originates -- you can catch the two-hour series finale on Friday, May 13. But the Canadian network Space definitely is available from coast to coast, so you also can see the Smallville finale there on Sunday, May 15.
Through its 10 years, Smallville has not had a consistent national Canadian broadcaster, and that's a shame. From the producing, writing and acting aspects, the quality of the series always has been apparent, and let's face it, any TV show that lasts 10 years must be doing something incredibly right.
In the finale, Clark takes his final step to obtain the Man of Steel title, while Lex Luthor (Michael Rosenbaum) and others return to reflect upon Clark's journey.
