'Dance' rejects lack chemistry
By -- Sun Media

In dance, it's all about the chemistry.

Unfortunately for Ashlee Langas and Ricky Palomino, the first two finalists cut from So You Think You Can Dance, there wasn't any. The pair came across like first cousins forced to go to the prom together during their awkward Argentine tango Wednesday night.

"It's suppose to be really sexy --... it wasn't that sexy. I felt like a mother could have danced with her son, doing the same thing," guest judge and choreographer Dan Karaty told the young dancers.

Added judge Nigel Lythgoe, "They looked a bit like dancing David and Goliath."

While being the first two finalists sent home had to be an embarrassing for Langas, a 19-year-old jazz dancer from Texas, and Palomino, a 25-year-old contemporary dancer from Arizona, they can rest easy knowing few people noticed.

Instead, it will be last year's winner everyone is gossiping about this weekend.

Benji Schwimmer made his return to the show with an unforgettable performance. Yes, the dancing was awesome. But the jaw-dropping moment actually came after he stopped moving.

That's when Benji pulled down his pants -- revealing very tight American flag underwear --- and then just stood there for what seemed like an eternity.

Uncomfortable, odd and a bit humorous -- it's moments like those which keep reality TV going, my friends.
