Get ready, Toronto, New Jersey's most notorious family is moving in on our turf.
The Sun has learned that CTV is flying several cast members of the acclaimed HBO drama The Sopranos to Toronto next week. The network plans to present them at their glitzy Fall launch event, which takes place Wednesday.
Dominic Chianese, who plays retired mob boss Uncle Junior, is confirmed. Other cast members include James Gandolfini (Tony Soprano), Edie Falco (Tony's wife, Carmela), Lorraine Bracco (Tony's shrink, Dr. Jennifer Melfi), Michael Imperioli (Tony's nephew Christopher), Aida Turturro (Tony's sister Janice) and Stevie Van Zandt (crew boss Silvio Dante). David Chase is the executive producer.
CTV, which scored huge ratings when it ran season one of The Sopranos uncut in prime time last September, is set to announce plans to air future episodes later this year.
Look for Tony and the boys to start glaring out from beside those bouncing red, blue and green CTV logos in the coming months.
