Sorry folks, no 'Survivor' tonight
By -- Jam! Showbiz

Bruce Kanegai

SPOILER ALERT: Don't read any further if you don't want details of upcoming episodes...

Don't believe everything you see and hear. Despite media reports to the contrary in Toronto, a new episode of "Survivor" will not air tonight.

As was explained at the end of the March 10th broadcast in which former astronaut Daniel Barry was jettisoned off to Loser Island, "Survivor" will not return to its regular schedule due to the NCAA March Madness Tournament until Thursday, March 30th.

In a press release, CBS revealed on that episode (entitled "An Emerging Plan") the "Survivor Panama" tribes will merge. When they do, members of the La Mina Alliance will try to convince some of those in the rival Casaya Alliance to jump ship.

Also, karate instructor and high school art teacher Bruce Kanegai will suffer a chipped tooth and a cut lip when the new tribe decides to expand their shelter to accommodate everyone.

Things will possibly turn from bad to worse for Bruce as well. It is rumoured that in an upcoming episode, Bruce will be forced to leave the game due to an ongoing illness although he will still be a part of the "Survivor: Panama" jury.
