Ousted Survivor: Cook Island player Jonathan Penner knows how to keep his mouth shut.
The recently booted actor/producer is not giving any hints about which contestants make it to the end in Survivor's first ever Top 3 tribal council. Or who wins the cool million.
But, if you were going to put some money on it, you may want to vote for one of the Hispanic players.
"I do believe the Aitutaki Four are the most deserving. They've won nine out of 12 challenges and Yul (Kwon) did find the (secret) immunity idol and has used it beautifully," says Penner.
"To me they deserve it more than Adam (Gentry) and Pavarti (Shallow).
"But, I'll tell you, if either of them make it to the final three, my hat would have to be off to them. They would have only done it by sheer hard work and fantastic game playing."
Penner says he was not thrilled to have had to vote for any of the remaining members to win.
"When you see who the final three are -- well, I had to vote for one of them. We are not given the choice unfortunately."
Penner, an L.A.-based actor whose had major roles on The Naked Truth and Rude Awakening and guest-starred on CSI, Seinfeld and Arrested Development, says Survivor was the opportunity of a lifetime.
"I didn't really see it as an acting gig. I really saw it as a fantastic opportunity to have a really, really good time.
"I happen to like the show -- I'm a fan of the show -- and it's just a crazy thing they asked me to do," he says, adding he jumped at the chance.
"When's the next time I'm going to get to play Robinson Crusoe?"
While Penner enjoyed all 33 days he spent on the island, he admits he was not the most well-liked player.
First he switched tribes, upsetting the Aitutaki Four, then he flopped back after learning its leader Kwon had the secret idol.
"When we were presented with the chance to mutiny, I had no interest in doing it, but I saw my closest ally go and I saw the numbers shifting. I wanted to be on the tribe with eight, not the tribe with four," he says.
"The mutiny itself wasn't a mistake, but I did make a huge mistake and that was in assuming Adam had the idol. That really was a million mistake."
A new episode of Survivor: Cook Islands airs tonight on CBS and Global at 9 p.m. The two-hour finale airs on both networks Sunday at 9 p.m.
