Sylvia Kwan became the third member of Ravu to be voted out of the 'Survivor: Fiji' game. |
Last night, ‘Survivor’ host Jeff Probst remarked that the Ravu Tribe was “dissolving emotionally” right before his very eyes and chided the dehydrated and starving group for allowing the game to “slip through their fingers”.
Whaaa? Has Jiffy been smoking some of those exotic jungle leaves back at the production camp? Come on. Be real. How can any of the producers complain that Ravu is doing so poorly when they were intentionally put that far behind the eight ball? I mean, Moto’s biggest worry (besides their ill tribemate) is what shade of blue to paint their grandiose patio for crying out loud.
While it is true that the challenges on “This Isn't Survival... It's Thrival” were less athletic to a degree, it is very hard to focus when you have very little food to eat and water to drink. Unlike the appalling performance of the Ulong Tribe, Ravu’s road to ‘Survivor’ infamy was paved for them not by them.
Surprise. Surprise. Ravu tanked another Immunity Challenge this week and another member walked the plank. You didn’t need a crystal ball to call this one. Sent to Exile Island twice, outcast Sylvia ‘Miss Bossy’ Kwan was an easy out although perceived whiner and resident Poindexter - Anthony Robinson – narrowly escaped having his torch snuffed by Probst.
In such a peculiar season of ‘Survivor’ it figures that the only player to actually apply, Gary ‘Papa Smurf’ Stritesky, has begun to suffer from an environmental illness. Despite that, Gary still pulled off the Immunity win for Moto by swallowing down some pig snout on a platter in a welcome return to the “Gross Food Challenge”.

On the next 'Survivor': Television. : Gary breaks down. Lilliana moves a move on one of the guys. James rips on Anthony for being wimpy. Anthony cries during a confessional about just leaving.
On the next 'Survivor': CBS Internet. : "Frustrated over losing a challenge, one Survivor explodes in anger, berating other tribemates and throwing rocks around camp. One Survivor's deteriorating health becomes a major problem, causing the medical team to arrive. Can this Survivor recover and continue in the game or will their tribe be forced to continue on without them? A surprise twist is revealed at the Immunity Challenge, forcing the winning team to make a tough decision that could change the course of the entire game. One Survivor becomes suspicious of another's strategy when they're caught flirting with members of the opposite sex."
Powell's Thoughts:
Someone quits (Guess who?) and someone is voted out next week.
The twist at the Immunity Challenge might entail a tribe having to make the choice of: A. Going to Tribal Council and voting someone out. or B. Keeping their camp. Could the Immunity winners end up as losers? Sounds completely and utterly stupid.
There will be no tribal switch-up until further down the road.
Liliana's flirting is bound to put her firmly on people's radar.
The next episode is entitled: "Let's Just Call Jeff On The Jeff Phone". That probably refers to Gary's unfortunate situation.
Reader Alert: Sorry for the Reader’s Digest version of a recap this week. The situation cannot be helped. Next week, it is back to normal.
